Mystic River

Hey guys! I'm hanging out.. Just got back from the pool with Baby, it's beautiful outside! 70 degrees and way too sunny for words.. We started off in the hot tub, and ended up out by the pool. Baby wanted to get some color.. Whew! But, I had to give the girl some support. She's one of those really "white" white girls, you know what I mean? A sister felt like she was gonna pass out though! LOL

Anyway, I got a nice hot shower when we got back to the crib, and now I'm hanging out, checking in on the news (online) and watching "Mystic River".. What a great movie! Sean Penn is soo awesome! I love that guy.. Shame about his brother.. Remember "The Outsiders"?? OMG! Talk about eyecandy! That movie was loaded! Loved it!!!!

Well, Coretta Scott King was buried yesterday.. Cody Posey was convicted today.. What a week..

16 years old and nothing to really look forward to. That's a tough life right there! 14 years old and a murderer. All because he was abused and the adults around him didn't take action.. See, that pisses me off! When they noticed that the boy's situation was fucked, why not intervene then? Why wait until he's "snapped" and killed everybody!? Anyway.... I love kids, and I feel like we (as a society) don't invest enough into them... It seems like whenever there is a tragedy like this, we find out about all these signs! What the hell??

Sue Ann Ray's body was just found, and her husband has been arrested. Damn.. What the fuck is going on?

I'm gonna go watch Nancy Grace to get the update. sad...
